Introduction to TED-Ed Lesson
ENDNOTES
1. TED Conferences, "About TED-Ed: Flip this Video", Ted-Ed, available from http://ed.ted.com/about/#/flipthisvideo (accessed June 12, 2013).
For my second project, I created a "flipped" TED-Ed lesson by selecting a video for the Watch section, composing a 10-question multiple choice quiz for the Think section, developing 3-5 open-ended questions for the Dig Deeper section, and closing the lesson with an "essential question"
for the And Finally section. According to TED-Ed, flip teaching is
"a method of instruction where classroom-based teaching time and tradi-tional "homework" time are reversed (flipped). A teacher provides video lessons to be reviewed outside of class, which in turn gives teachers more time in class to focus on higher-order learning skills". [1]
